|   Spring Fever!
It's never too early around here to start celebrating Sping. For those of us here in the Northeast, this Winter was particularly cruel. Now that the temperatures are just starting to warm up, we are ready to welcome Spring with open arms and great skin!
Let me tell you my latest "fetish": exotic oils. I never knew how incredibly luxurious these can be. I am talking about exotic, expensive and heavenly oils, such as Argan Oil (a/k/a moroccan oil), Monoi de Tahiti, Papaya Oil, and Pequi Oil, just to name a few.
This is what I love most about many of these oils: when applied to the skin, they absorb immediately and soften and hydrate skin in the most efficient and inexplicable way. My skin has never felt softer and more luxurious.
Some of these oils we sell by the ounce in one or two ounce sizes, some of the less pricey ones come in a four ounce size. Pequi oil is rich and buttery, so it comes in a two ounce jar. They are very special, I think you will enjoy them. Check out the individual properties of each oil to decide which one is best for you.
Applied to the hair, these oils can offer shine and softness that no manufactured product can offer. Apply to hair, cover with a cap and leave on for as long as you like, even overnight. Shampoo out, condition if you like, and style as usual. I apply these oils to my hair before I go in the sauna, and my hair has never been fuller, shinier or in better shape. My fave for hair: Pequi oil, which fights frizz.
And by the way, those of you are scoffing at me and saying things like "I use grapeseed oil every day" -- or jojoba oil, or olive oil, or WHATEVER, these oils are in an entirely different league. Those every day oils are, well, amateurs.
My favorite elixir is a combination of Argan Oil, Monoi de Tahiti and Papaya Oil. Scented or unscented, these oils are among nature's greatest gifts for skin. Some, like the Argan oil, are very expensive to produce, but they are indeed worth it.
